Job Description:

As a Staff RN at SCSO, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care across various departments within our ambulatory surgery center. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic environment, demonstrating exceptional clinical and critical thinking skills and will be committed to patient-centered care and eager to make a positive contribution to both our team culture and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive nursing care, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety in the following areas:
       
    • Pre-Op
    •  
    • PACU Level  2 
    •  
    • Endoscopy Admit/Discharge/Circulating 
    •  
    • Pain Clinic Admit/Discharge

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
  • Current BLS, ACLS AND PALS (ACLS and PALS required upon start or within 90 days of employment)
  • Preferred 6 months of nursing experience some text
  • We are open to training the right candidate who demonstrates strong potential and a commitment to learning
  • Possess critical thinking skills and knowledge in recognizing, evaluating and solving problems
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees
