The Surgery Center of Southern Oregon is seeking a dedicatedand skilled Staff Nurse to join our ambulatory surgery team.  We are committed to providing excellent patient care and ensuring a positive work environment for our staff. Position Summary

The LPN delivers high standards of patient care and safetyin accordance with SCSO policies and procedures, Oregon Nurse Practice Act, local,state, and federal regulations, accreditation standards and professional best practice under the supervision of the responsible RN. This position requires strong clinical and critical thinking skills and the ability to provide individualized patient care in various clinical departments based on the patient census throughout the Surgery Center. The LPN assists the department managers in the daily operations of the clinical areas and functions as a liaison for patientsand physicians.

Education, Training & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current unencumbered Oregon LPN license
• Current BLS
• Possess critical thinking skills and knowledge in recognizing, evaluating and solving problems
• Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees
