We are looking for a strong RN candidate to join our team of professionals providing overnight patient care for stable post operative patients that require additional observation prior to discharge. All overnight patients are scheduled in advance.
The Surgery Center of Southern Oregon has been providing multi-specialty surgical services for our local communities since 1997. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS AND PALS (ACLS and PALS required upon start or within 90 days of employment)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PACU or critical care preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Possess critical thinking skills and knowledge in recognizing, evaluating and solving problems
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees
SCHEDULE
• Overnight
o Anticipated need of 1 overnight shift per week, with a ratio of 1-RN and 1-MA or LPN to 1-2 patients
SALARY
Depending on qualifications
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
• $15.00 additional pay per hour
